Squimpus McGrimpus' FNAF VHS Tapes (commonly shortened to FNAF VHS Tapes or just FNAF VHS) is a FNAF VHS series created by Squimpus McGrimpus in 2019. It is largely responsible for the growth and popularity of the FNAF VHS Genre after starring in a Vapor Reacts video by Vapor. The series only uses elements of the first four Five Nights at Freddy's games and includes 6 non-canon mp4 files. After Michael Afton unintentionally killed his brother, Joseph in an accident at Fredbear's Family Diner, his father, William, developed an abusive relationship with Michael to the point of wanting to murder him. Although, since the police would find out, William instead took his anger out on five children visiting the re-branded Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, stabbing them to death in a Spring Bonnie suit and stuffing their corpses inside of the animatronics. Now possessed by the deceased children, the animatronics begin a stealthy pursuit to take revenge on their killer, resulting in several misguided employee deaths. Eventually they manage to find him in 1993 where he attempts to hide in a Spring Bonnie suit, only to get in a freak accident when the springlocks disable, leaving him trapped in the safe room for 15 years until his body gets transported to Fazbear's Fright.
