I used to go to the Greendale Mall in Worcester Massachusetts all the time! It opened in 1987 and had all sorts of great stores in it. It's located in the nook of 190 and Route 12 / Gold Star Boulevard. The shiny building on the hill above it is the Higgins Armory. Eventually malls fell out of favor. The Greendale Mall became an empty wasteland. Finally the owners gave up and sold. When we drove by on November 7 2021 it was GONE. Only the green Greendale Mall entry sign remained, and lots of piles of sand. They'd trucked away every last beam and post of the structure.
