What opened in 1996 as the Underwater World... and then became the Underwater Adventures Aquarium... was eventually rebranded by Merlin Entertainments as the Sea Life Mall of America. This 1.3 Million Gallon Aquarium includes 11 separate sections. Although here’s a fair warning, many of these areas are very poorly lit, and I do think this place was a bit too kid centered. With that since many of the galleries are incredibly short lived we’ll go through the aquarium in one full tour.
