Me and my dad is testing his gas converted FT 120 on the field. The rough running in the previous running video (on glow) was sorted by relapping the valves to the seats and adjusting the valve clearance. The left cylinderhead was not mounted correctly by the previous owner, so that was why it was leaking. Running RCEXL ignition and standard carb. It is VERY sensitive on the needle and airscrew. So more running and adjusting is necessary, and in the long run a different carb perhaps. Immediate and powerful response on throttle! Idle can be as low as 900rpm, but very stable around 1500rpm. On the top end 7400-7650rpm with a Fiala 17x6 prop. 6% oil mix. Testbed for the engine is a H9 1/4 J3 Cub. Will finally be in a 1/4 Sig J3 Cub.
