Hiking Elephant Rock (Bountiful, Utah) with snow!

Hiking a popular trail just a few miles north of Salt Lake City, called Elephant Rock trail in Mueller Park of Bountiful, Utah. It's 7 miles round-trip and elevates more than 1000 feet in 3.5 miles. Easy to moderate but the path is clean and clear. It is popular with hikers, runner, mountain-bikers, and equestrian riders. It is a FREE hike and most people, including kids should be able to make at least a mile up the path. From there, you just follow the contours of the mountain as you make your way to the rock. On this particular day it was nearly 80 degrees in March and it dropped our 80% snowpack down to nearly 60% in just one day! Regardless, it made for a great springtime hike through the snow.
