Christmas Eve 1957. A pilot is flying home on leave from his base in Germany. He is alone in the cockpit of his jet fighter with enough fuel and reserve to make this a routine flight back to his home base at Lakenheath. Out over the North Sea, the fog rolls in and blankets the whole of Southern England. The pilot's radio fails and his compass spins wildly out of control. Lost and alone the pilot resigns himself to his fate, to disappear in to the North Sea without a trace. Suddenly, out of the mist a old World War II bomber appears, signalling as if to make contact with lost pilot. But, who sent him and how did he know the pilot was in trouble? Original story by the master storyteller, Frederick Forsyth About the Film Maker:- Two years ago I decided to try and make an animated film with only freely available software and without purchasing any 3D models or assets or add-ons to any of the software and here's the result after those two years of effort. I chose Blender, Makehuman, Paint.net, Audacity and Gimp as these are all free - I needed to learn all the 3D modelling, texturing, rigging and animating that was needed and, as if that was enough of a challenge, I needed to learn all the film stuff, camera, lighting and editing as well. Then there was the sound and dialogue - So you see, I knew nothing of any of it. It was an exercise in learning stuff I didn't know and see if I could do it - So consider that when you comment :) It's not perfect by any means, but learnt a lot and applying that to my next film By all means, put a comment if you want whether it be good or bad
