The Prinsengracht is the outermost canal of the Amsterdam canal belt. I really think it is the nicest canal to walk, there is something happening on every corner. Strolling towards De Westerkerk, built 1619 – 1631, located at the Prinsengracht canal, with Anne Frank House from one side and the Westermarkt from the other, this is Amsterdam at its best. Many people go on a tour boat on the canals or rent a boat and make it a party with a drink and a snack.
