Recording Date: 2026 February 21 From: Fulton St/25th Ave To: Market & 3rd St Effective February 14th, SF MUNI Potrero Division is closed for a few years, for renovation and rebuild. With the routes being served by this division (5/5R, 14, 22, 30), they will be relocated to other divisions, along with all vehicles to Presidio or Marin Division in phrases. Minor service changes are also implemented in order to support the ridership in the same service level. The daytime 5 Fulton on weekends now completely operates with XT40s out of Presidio Division, no longer running with XT60s. Though since the Potrero XT40s were transferred to Presidio, there are now a mix of "Ex-Potrero" (5701-5753) and Presidio Units (5754-5885) that operate on the 5 Fulton. Due to the weekend 5 now only operating with shorter XT40s, instead of the usual longer artic XT60s, the frequency has been improved from every 10 minutes, to every 7 minutes, to help support with crowding. Because of this, I wanted to catch a Presidio Unit on the 5, so I caught this #5756 on the 5!
