Hiking UAE (RAK) - Redwall Hike - Wadi Naqab to Sheri Village - Drone (mavic Mini 2)

In February 2021, a small group of friends and their dog hiked up to Sheri village from the starting point of Wadi Naqab carpark. From start to finish, it took approximately 6 hours with a bit of rest time up on top of the view point! the views are amazing and well work to steep incline. Majority of the hike was in the shade due to the steep wadi walls blocking the sun, so the temperature was perfect. I believe Sheri village is approximately 850 metres above the starting point, however this incline is over a short distance, so your legs will definitely feel it. This hike is relatively dog friendly, we brought a 1-year-old nervous pup who wouldn’t have much experience hiking, other than maybe 2 areas where she needed assistance, we felt she had no issues handling it. We seen a variety of people with hiking levels / ages (from elderly – young teenagers) so the hike itself was moderate. The hike is marked-out with stone piles on the wadi boulders along the path, we weren’t aware of this at the start and paid the price for it later. The drone used was a DJI Mavic Mini 2, it was the 1st time recording and editing a video so I hope you enjoy it!! Happy Hiking Guys!!!!
