Community Garden Edition This season, our community garden produced a great deal of food for us, and this 2023 sweet potato harvest video proves that we can also grow huge sweet potatoes in this allotment garden plot as well, but it also showed us some of the problems that we encounter in this space as well. We have grown so many different sweet potato varieties this year, and Georgia Jet sweet potatoes are some of our favorites, and we found a way to really reduce the difficulty of the harvest in the clay soil of our community garden; however, we didn't think the voles would be as vicious in this plot as they were this year. We lost many sweet potatoes or parts of sweet potatoes in this sweet potato harvest 2023 to the voles; however, given how these were some of the biggest sweet potatoes we have grown, we are going to adapt and attempt to grow more sweet potatoes in ground in our community allotment gardening plot next season.
