Regular maintenance is important for buildings of all ages and types. Some deterioration of a building over time is inevitable but regular maintenance helps slow the rate and lessens the need for large-scale, costly work further down the line. Before you get started you’ll need some equipment – binoculars, camera, clipboard and gloves or gauntlets are always very handy. Be very careful working at heights and do not use ladders if you are on your own.
