Viktor & Rolf at the High Museum | Visiting with My Daughters + Virtual Tour Experience

We spent the day at the High Museum of Art with my daughters, Danielle and Deanna, to experience the Viktor & Rolf: Fashion Statements exhibit. This visit almost didn’t happen—I accidentally bought tickets for a sold-out Sunday, but luckily the second Sunday of each month is free at the High. That meant waiting in the overflow line and hoping for the best… and thankfully, it worked out. The exhibit blends fashion, art, performance, and storytelling in a way that’s visually striking even if you’re not into fashion. We also tried the museum’s virtual tour, accessed by scanning a QR code and listening through AirPods. It’s incredibly informative, but at nearly an hour long, it’s definitely a commitment. I filmed this visit using a DJI Pocket 2, which has a narrower field of view than my usual GoPro, so capturing the scale of the exhibit required a bit more intention. This video starts with a short intro, then takes you through what we saw in roughly the same order we experienced it—sharing reactions, visuals, and what made this museum visit special, especially getting to do it together as a family.
