Lower Largo is a lovely village in the East Neuk (Neuk. Scots - corner) of Fife. The village hosts distinctive, and unique decorative gates that reflect various oceanic and coastal motifs and activities. At low tide, the coast's sandstone is revealed - amazing landscape, full of interesting contours and textures... The beach, while fairly narrow at high tide, stretches on along the coast making it a fantastic place for long walks and beach hunting! Among the best finds of the day - an amazing piece of bonfire glass; a lovely clay marble, and a chunky piece of pirate glass! Nicole explains what pirate glass is.
