Hey everyone! Join us as we install our hardwood flooring in our bedroom! This flooring is 3/4" x 4" wide and, because of our climate, requires glue (I used Titebond Flooring Adhesive) and staples for attaching it. We went through and marked all the joist locations and installed screws through the sub-flooring. I used a scrap piece of the flooring and a multi-tool to cut all the door jams for clearance. Everything went smoothly and we had no issues. Be sure to leave edge gaps around 1/4" for expansion. The trim will cover these gaps. This process goes a lot quicker if you have help. My wife and I work really well together with her laying out the boards and gluing while I start aligning and nailing the flooring. We installed flooring in the entire main floor, but I only shot footage of the bedroom. There was so much commotion and clutter going on in the other rooms, that I chose to just focus the video on a single room process. Home projects are never neat and tidy!
