This was a music video made by Hunter, Patrick, and I. It is a music video of a song called "Christ is Risen" by Matt Maher. Check it out on iTunes! It took us over a total of 12 hours just to build the map, another hour to record, and countless hours for me to edit! Hope you guys enjoyed! Like, Subscribe, and comment for more! To do this video, we used a program called Minecraft for the game engine, FRAPS recording to record the individual shots, and Sony Movie Maker Platinum to edit and compile the video. Much work, thought, and planning went into this video. I feel that since we did the whole song, and used a program not designed to replay the life of Jesus and a drunken business man, we had to think outside of the box. I feel a lot of the times when we sin we get angry at God; we blame our sins on him. This is why, in the second scene, the drunken man walks past the church, looks at it, and throws down his drink. But since Christ died and rose for us, we can all find salvation. In Scene 3, we rewound the video (Man's life) back to before he threw the drink, where he re-thinks his next move. In Scene 4 he decides to head into the church and take a seat. Once in the church the man has a re-collection or epiphany of Jesus's life, death, and resurrection. These scenes play over and over in his head while he is in church... and the video ultimately ends with him repenting and being saved from his sin. This applies to life today, as I said before, a lot of the time we blame our sin on God. This shows perfectly how a drunken man that has no hope after being fired can find repentance with just one thought. Instead of angrily smashing his drink he decides to enter into the church to find the love of the one who freely bled for us. This video combined probably took us over 20 Hours to make. There was close to 12 hours that went into just making the map alone, and then another hour into recording (Hunter had never played the game, so he didn't even know how to move), and finally countless hours were spent editing the video. I alone re-did it at least six times because of glitches in the video. Thank you for watching!
