His most famous biographies include "Steve Jobs", a revealing account of the Apple co-founder’s life and vision; "Leonardo da Vinci", an in-depth exploration of the Renaissance polymath; "Einstein: His Life and Universe", which delves into the physicist’s groundbreaking theories and personal struggles; and "Benjamin Franklin: An American Life", which captures the multi-faceted life of one of America’s Founding Fathers. His book "The Code Breaker: Jennifer Doudna, Gene Editing, and the Future of the Human Race" highlights the revolutionary advancements in CRISPR gene-editing technology and its ethical implications. His latest work, "Elon Musk", provides an inside look into the life and ambitions of the controversial tech entrepreneur. His first solo biography in 1992 was Kissinger: a Biography Walter Isaacson has lived a wonderful life, growing up in New Orleans, attending Harvard and then Oxford as a Rhodes scholar.
