In the beginning, stages of sickle-cell retinopathy are elaborated including peripheral arteriolar occlusion and ischaemia, peripheral arteriovenous anastomoses, vitreous haemorrhage, vitreoretinal traction bands and tractional retinal detachment. Subsequently, Leber’s miliary aneurysms is also elucidated.
