Man Gets Assaulted By Neighbor | Part 1

Whatcom County Sheriff's Office is called to a simple assault at trailer park involving two neighbors. Deputies arrive on scene and immediately make contact with a 19 year old male. The male is crying and extremely distraught claiming his neighbor had assaulted him for walking through the yard. The man tells officers he is going to jail but officers immediately disagree with him considering the circumstances. The man asks deputies if he could sit in the patrol car while officers sort out the situation. Officers also speak with the manager of the trailer park who claims the young was punched in the face for walking through a neighbors yard. The deputies continue to speak with the teen and use de escalation tactics to relax the young man. Officers ask if the teen wants to press charges against his neighbor but declines. Deputies request medics to the scene to evaluate any injuries of the individual. Paramedics along with other deputies arrive on scene but the bodycam video cuts off.
