Welcome to one of the most underrated Greek islands of Chios. Chios, Greece is a beautiful, mountainous island in the Aegean Sea that can be reached by ferry via Çeşme, Turkey. We’ll visit the Nea Moni Monastery which showcases some of the best preserved Byzantine art, view seaside windmills, walk through the walls of the former castle to see Ottoman style architecture and visit an old Turkish bath. In addition, I’ll try some delicious Greek loukoumades and sip an ice cold freddo cappuccino.
