The Amber Trust's 2024 Annual Concert

Welcome to The Amber Trust’s 2024 Annual Concert, which took place on the 19th May at the Wathen Hall, St Paul’s School in Barnes. Hosted by Amber’s Chair, Professor Adam Ockelford, and Amber Patron Derek Paravicini, the concert features some of the talented musicians supported by the charity, including Eleanor, Evan, Chapman, Ivan, Benjamin, Brianna, Lily M, Lucy, Nikhil, and Steele. Special appearances by Poppy McGhee and Ashleigh. The programme included a wide and varied repertoire - from classical pieces by Bach, Debussy, and Mendelssohn, to modern hits such as Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’, and ‘Pure Imagination’, from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Some very special original compositions and improvisations were also performed. With thanks to all of our musicians and volunteers who made the concert so special, and to the High Master and St Paul’s School for generously allowing us to use the Wathen Hall once again.
