New Scarface piano cover: Gina’s Grief (Manny’s Death)–a very sad theme to the tune of Gina and Elvira’s Theme (right after Tony kills Manny). Music composed by Giorgio Moroder for the 1983 film Scarface. Upon finding his best friend Manolo together with his sister Gina, a cold-blooded Tony falls into a fit of madness and guns down Manny point-blank, causing Gina to collapse with grief over her husband’s bloody corpse. A despondent and sobbing Gina then reveals to Tony: “We got married just yesterday. We were gonna surprise you.” Tony then realises what a horrendous thing he has done. His brother-in-law Manny is dead, by his own hand. This disturbing scene also echoes Mama Montana’s words to her son a few moments earlier: “Why do you have to destroy everything that comes your way?” The tragic death of his best friend also marks Tony’s fateful undoing, for this is what killed him in the end, not Sosa’s army.
