Enjoy the fine scenery of what home grow looks like in this video shot at DCMJ Headquarters in Washington, DC. I elaborate in detail my multiple interactions with Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD1) at his town hall meeting and the Longworth House Office Building in Washington DC. I have provided live video clips of the overdose action MDMJ and DCMJ held on October 2nd at his Congressional office. I was so honored to have the chance to stand up alongside other passionate activists to my Congressman in memory of the loss of my good friend Elijah Vincent Moore who as many of you know died of an overdose in April 2017. Elijah is my inspiration and a big part of why I fight so hard to end cannabis prohibition in the United States, specifically in the state of Maryland, where the opioid crisis continues to take tens of thousands of lives annually. The next topic highlighted in this video is the importance of voting and supporting candidates running for office that plan on making changes that directly effect you and your community the most. On a local level, my support for the 2018 election goes strongly to the gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous (D-MD) running against incumbent Larry Hogan (R-MD). I mention a few reasons why he get my vote in November. Even though Rep. Andy Harris's challenger for the first district of Maryland congressional seat, Jesse Colvin (D-MD) had not made a public statement on his stance about cannabis legalization, check out the third part of this video with live clips of me procuring his position on the issue if elected. Pay close attention to the three part question! I was almost too excited to ask!! Next, we discuss H.R. 6152, "Marijuana in Federally Assisted Housing Parity Act of 2018", a bill introduced by Congresswoman Eleanor Norton-Holmes (D-DC at Large). I encourage anyone watching this video who find it important to protect low-income housing recipients such as veterans, the elderly, disabled, the sick, college students, the abused, to contact your Representatives about co-sponsoring this important Bill that would protect over 5 million Americans.
