A brilliant 2006 Westcountry Winner, held in Cornwall. Fantastic racing all the way through the heats, and some real drama in the RH Sidecar Final. Andrew Appleton had to be the man to beat in the 500cc Solo's, but there were dangers a plenty with Paul Cooper, Trevor Banks, and Glen Phillips. With so many crews going so well this season, and on a super track, this really was as open a contest as you could get. Rob Wilson has had a great season so far, and Duncan Tolhurst also going great guns, add in Myles Simmons/Kevin Woodley, plus the local crews of Richard Thomas/Jason Barry, and Andy Symons/Daniel Bray, it really was wide open, and they put on some of the best racing all season.
