This is a list of our top 5 hikes at Glacier National Park. 5. 📍 Hidden Lake Overlook 🥾 3 miles (moderate) ⬆️ 550 ft of elevation gain ✅ Trailhead starts at Logan Pass 4. 📍 Avalanche Lake 🥾 5.9 miles (moderate) ⬆️ 750 ft of elevation gain ✅ Trailhead starts at trail of Cedars 3. 📍 St. Mary’s & Virgina Falls 🥾 3.1 miles (moderate) ⬆️ 450 ft of elevation gain ✅ Trailhead starts at St. Mary’s Fall 2. 📍 Highline Trail 🥾 14.9 miles (difficult) ⬆️ 2,600 ft of elevation gain ✅ Trailhead starts at Logan Pass 1. 📍 Grinnell Glacier Trail 🥾 10 miles (difficult) ⬆️ 2,040 ft of elevation gain ✅ Trailhead starts at Many Glacier Hotel Tips: Make sure you have a going to the sun road pass along with a parking pass, some areas require this now. Bring plenty of food and water. Bring bear spray and keep a safe distance from wildlife. Bring sunscreen and be aware of weather conditions. Arrive early, before sunrise even, to avoid the crowd and get parking.
