This Baseus Qi2 pack has a 27W output and a premium finish. So why did it drop to 12W halfway through? I ran the numbers, ran the pack, and ran out of patience. Baseus Picogo Magsafe Portable Charger, 0.5" Ultra Slim Qi2 Certified 15W Wireless Power Bank, 10000mAh 27W Fast Charging Magnetic Battery Pack Review -Looks good on paper -pulling PDO's and PPS was tricky, failed several times, had to let the pack shutdown/reboot -got solid numbers for the different charge rates -for real world capacity, I pulled 27.1Wh -the max output for the pack is 27W -BUT it only holds that for a few minutes before dropping to 18W and then 12W -for recharging, the pack took in 39.9Wh -took 175 minutes, almost 3 hours -at the end of the day, you get 27.1 Wh out for every 39.9Wh we put in. -that's a 68% efficiency, not bad -Qi2 testing was odd, failed the first test, only charged 4% in 30 mins -on average, the pack gave me device 25% in 30 mins -so the battery bank took 8.83 Wh to put in 3.45 Wh into the phone -that is an efficiency of 39% which isn't great -this the second pack I'm testing and my assumption is that it would be 60%+ so we'll see what happens -Cooler running pack for discharging -Got pretty warm with the Qi2 -one of the slimmer 10k packs -doesn't sacrifice overall performance for the smaller size
