Now.. back to why I post this interview. I love Shaun Morgan from Seether. He’s a great artist and I love that he shares the same sentiment towards Layne that we all do. He found Laynes music, fell in love with his voice and felt connected enough to feel this strongly about his death and what came after. Something we can all relate to. Second clip is from 97X green room on March 5, 2006. Shine down and Seether covered Nutshell. It’s no Layne Staley but you have to remember that these guys sings a different genre of music. They’re metalcore and hard rock bands. Brent Smith took the first verse and Shaun took the second.
