Here at Natural Heating in Norfolk, we are now agents for Klover Wood pellet and log wood stoves and boilers. I've done a fair bit of research this year into which wood pellet stoves I thought I would most like to try first. Having seen quite a few of the models already on the market, I was having a hard time initially in convincing myself that I actually wanted one. They just didn't enthuse me at all.... However, I changed my mind when I went to see these Klover Wood Pellet Stoves. They aren't the cheapest, but the technology certainley was impressive and the performance seemed very good. I started to see the potential benefits. Some pellet stoves, the air only ducts straight up - and you don't feel the heat on your body. Couldn't see why I wanted one of those. If I was going to buy a fire, I WANTED to feel the heat out the front. Well, these Klover models put the heat out the front and the top and can also duct heat if you wish through wall vents into other rooms. They are controllable from a remote, but additionally via wifi from my mobile phone. I've now had this Klover Soft 100 freestanding wood fired pellet stove in my office for exactly one week.... and can assure you , its staying exactly where it is ! I've got it set to come on automatically about 30mins before the girls and I get into work in the morning six days a week and switch itself off about an hour before they are due to leave. The unit has a built in thermostat, so I've got it set to maintain the office at 21deg C. If the temperature drops more than a couple of degrees during the set time period, it'll stay in standby and fire itself on and off as required to keep a near even temperature throughout the course of the day. Industrial / Commercial elecricity is a lot of money and we were still always cold in the winter in the jacket with just a couple of little oil filled rads and halogen heaters. Even at that, the winter heating bill was always about £600 a month more than winter ... the only difference being those rads / heaters in the office as the showroom is heated by wood burning stoves. Anyway, seems this fire will save us a fortune this coming winter and the office is actually now a nice and comfortable place to be. Even AFTER the cost of the pellets, I think we'll save £300 - 400 at least per month on the energy bill. Proobily much more ! Have a look and see what you think.
