Car Collides With LAPD Vehicle at Crash Scene in Chinatown

CHINATOWN, LOS ANGELES, Apr. 3 (KNN) — Los Angeles Police Department officers were managing traffic control near the intersection of Cesar Chavez Avenue and Bunker Hill Avenue for a separate crash when a woman driving a Nissan collided with their patrol car. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision that occurred around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. In response to the crash, officers requested assistance from an LAPD's Central Traffic Division unit to conduct a thorough investigation. Officers evaluated the woman for signs of driving under the influence, but it appears she was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
