These are my honest opinions *I tested the PCB prior to filming the build. Please test your PCB first before building your boards *The Mode Tempo kit does not come with stabilizers, foams, keycaps and switches. However, you can add these as add-ons to your order! *The PCB and daughterboard will be black in the final units *There will be 4 types of mounting blocks in the final units Mode always deliver great boards and the Tempo is no exception. I enjoyed the whole process from building to the typing of the board. Everything feels so premium and it brings me back to the time I built my Sonnet but in a different mount and layout🥲 Mode nailed the aesthetics of this board, as they always do with previous boards. The lattice mount was so intriguing to me as I have not build the Envoy yet at this point! So this was my first time typing on a lattice mount board. I am so glad I went with CF plate and copper weight because I think this configuration brings out the great tones of the board that I personally like. Out of the all the foam configurations I tested, I prefer no foam but also dig the slightly muted sound signature with just the case foam. I am surprised the PC chassis is not available this time for the Tempo, I would have loved to try it. And as with other Mode boards, the Tempo offers hundreds of customisability options where you can customise your own Tempo to your personal preference.
