"Are You Okay? I'm Just Curious Why You're Filming?"

Today's installment brings me to the public sidewalks outside this Ralph's store & shopping center where I exercised my freedom to record what I could see & hear with my cameras. I had plenty of encounters from various people, with a couple of encounters that stood out. One of them came from a guy who asked if I was okay & expressed his concerns with my mental state since he'd never seen anyone recording the grocery store before. I assured him I was great & asked in return if he was mentally okay as well? I told him he kind of reminded me of a popular Youtuber German In Venice (G.I.V.) with his ponytail & facial structure. He asked if that was a good or bad thing & I said it was good, as the G.I.V. has around 500k subscribers on his channel. Another encounter that stood out was from a guy who was initially behind me in the parking lot, recording me & asking why I was recording everyone. I turned around & he claimed I should ask for peoples permission to record them in public. I was going to offer him the hand out I carry with me about public photography rights & he mentioned he was aware I have the right to record, so I was wondering to myself what's the issue then? As I offered him the paper, he said he didn't want to touch me or anything I was touching.
