2025 Daytona State College Girls Flag Football Skills and ID Camp On Campus Experience

The 2025 Daytona State College Girls Flag Football Skills and ID Camp was held on December 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Daytona State College campus and welcomed athletes in grades 6 through 12 for a comprehensive on campus experience focused on development exposure and education. Before taking the field participants had the opportunity to tour the Daytona State College campus alongside current student athletes. During the tour athletes learned about campus life academics dorms and the day to day experience of being a college student athlete offering valuable insight into the expectations and opportunities at the collegiate level. Following the campus tour athletes trained directly with the Daytona State flag football coaching staff and players in a structured college style Skills and ID Camp. The session featured detailed position specific instruction and competitive drill work designed to challenge athletes at all levels. Drill stations included catching and receiving, quarterback mechanics, blocking, fundamentals, lateral movement, agility, and football IQ development. Athletes were grouped by grade and skill level to ensure focused instruction high repetition and individualized feedback throughout the camp. This 2025 Skills and ID Camp provided a high energy immersive environment where athletes could elevate their game gain exposure to the college flag football landscape and experience the culture of Daytona State College both on and off the field.
