A Beautiful Town in Laos that You Must Visit: Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang is a beautiful town in Laos that you must visit, and it has many World Heritage Sites. Here are two of my favorite must-see places in Luang Prabang: The Phou Si Mountains and the Night Market. Phou Si Mountain, Luang Prabang's Sacred Hill, is a landmark in the center of the old town in Laos. To see this incredible 360-degree panoramic view of the whole town and the Mekong River, you must climb 328 steps. The climb can be challenging for some people, but you can do it in your phase to catch your breath and enjoy the view. Phou Si means Sacred Mountain, and this landmark is significant to the Laos people. Seeing these different kinds of Buddhas are fascinating. No matter what religion you practice, Phou si Hill is one place you don’t want to miss visiting. The journey to the top was enjoyable, as I saw these beautiful colors and the mountain views. On the top of Mount Phou Si is a golden Buddhist temple dating back to 1804. The climb was worth it. Seeing the magnificent sunset, the mountain views, and the Mekong River on top of the Phou Si Hill are some of my best experiences here in Laos. Please bring water and dress appropriately; this is a sacred place for them. Going down Phou Si Hill, you will reach the Night Market. From above, the view of the night market is also beautiful. It’s a big market and very organized. This market offers a collection of handicrafts in Laos, with around 250 local handicraft vendors selling their hand-made products nightly. Here's another best part. The variety of foods and lively atmosphere are so enticing to visit. It’s hard to choose what to eat, but the important thing is the food and the experience you’ll get.
