Day 1 at CONEXPO 2026 (Before the Crowds!) + Excavator Skill Challenge

Welcome to Day 1 at CONEXPO‑CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas! In this video I got a behind-the-scenes look at the show before it officially opened, which was really cool to experience. The equipment yards were full of machines getting staged and prepped for the biggest construction equipment show in the world. While we were there, Volvo Construction Equipment invited us to try out one of their excavators for a fun (and surprisingly tricky) operator challenge. The goal? Use the excavator to carefully stand metal pipes upright and place rubber balls on top without knocking them over. I went head-to-head with my buddies LetsDig18 and Dirt Perfect to see who had the smoothest hands on the controls. I did alright… but it looks like LetsDig18 might have edged me out this time! Huge thanks to Volvo for having us out and letting us be part of the action at CONEXPO. This was just Day 1, and there’s a lot more coming from Vegas.
