Dear Diary, Our good friend Vern, with Rebel Style Kustoms [R*S*K] invited us down to Little Sahara Recreation Area for the day along with his family. This was just a day ride for us, since Misty is currently out of commission from a blow out we had on the way back home from St. Anthony Sand Dunes over Labor Day weekend. We take a ride to the back side of the mountain, and hit the back side jump where Mason, Vern's daughter, gets some practice jumps in. We then shoot through the bowls over to the rock pile and then down to Hollow Tree, all the way around to the bench. Vern, and his friends, were actually the ones who placed that bench up at the top of the overlook, their "Sunset". Vern bent one of his wheels and was loosing air, so we followed him as he limped back to camp. We run into our friends with Gears and Gashes, who have their fabricated work of art out for some test runs! It was so awesome to get to ride with Vern, his wife Coby, his daughter Mason, and some of Vern’s good friends. We are so lucky to have such a great friend like Vern.
