The Arthur Nelson Group? No! Everything you know is wrong. The b-side is, of course, very famous for going from two to nineteen, um, nineteen to two, in the hit parade. The performers are The ArthEY-Nelson Group, not the ArthUR Nelson Group. That PasB typo is probably the cause of more confusion - and mislabelled CDs and records - than any other. The same error appears on the PasC for the pilot episode showing on Lime Grove Night, so it looks like a lazy researcher just copied the details from the '63 PasB to the new one. Bad researcher. The Nelson half of Arthey-Nelson is Derek Nelson, aka Derek Boulton. The internet tells me he had something to do with Russ Conway, but I don't really know who that is either. I should have asked my gran. The Arthey is Johnny Arthey, who recorded other stuff for Conroy during this period and was pretty prolific generally - amongst a vast array of other things, he arranged Peter Noone's Oh You Pretty Things and Barry Ryan's original version of Eloise. He also co-wrote the theme tune of The Double Deckers along with Melvyn Hayes. Arthey's middle name was Raymond, so it's a reasonable assumption that he's the co-author here.
