Brooks Hyperion Tempo review: Better than the Hyperion Elite?

The Brooks Hyperion Tempo running shoe is designed to be used for fast training in partnership with using a carbon-plated super shoe like the Hyperion Elite for racing, but after running in both Run Tester Nick reckons the Tempo is the superior option. Key to that is the DNA Flash midsole, which is lightweight, responsive and comfortable. Brooks will be using it for the Hyperion Elite 2, which is launched in late September, but right now the Tempo is your best Brooks bet for a fast, lightweight shoe that's tremendously fun to run in.
