Sarah Lacey and Rachael Hill are back to take a look at one of the strangest games they've ever seen. In Holdfast, hundreds of players are set against one another other to recreate Napoleonic battles, with a wide variety of classes. The game is supposed to feel pretty realistic. Most shots kill you instantly, your rifle takes more than 15 seconds to reload, and the animations are slow and clunky. Now, the important part is that the game allows any player to speak using their microphone, so it's grown a community that likes to role-play the game.Players make speeches before charging, try to speak French if they're playing on the french team, etc... The other part of the community has decided to use the microphone feature to become absolutely insane.
