2nd session of the day. I had to hold back a lot, stock oil cooler just doesnt cut it on 90 degree days. A nice 19 row Setrab is in my near future... This is my first track day with my new Muellerized Ohlins suspension. It works wonderfully! This was the first track event of any type where my rear tire temps are hot as the fronts. The proper working suspension allows the rear end to actually help turn the car rather than just follow along like before. You can see my oil pressure drop from left hand G-forces pulling all the oil out of the sump in the pan @ 10:12. The lower left gauge under the radio, watch the needle dance when i get on the throttle after turn 7. I noticed that a couple times and had to hold back on left turns :( So now I need a new baffled oil pan as well... This hobby is expensive! Hah. Also my EGT's were very high (1050C), so many minor problems holding me back in this high heat. I am unsure what exactly is causing my EGT's. I have a water/methanol injection system ready to go in and that will supplement curing this problem. I want to run just water for cooling and remain at a stockish boost level. I was not doing impressive lap times but all out with no heat issues I think I could muster a 2:04 or 2:05 at The Ridge.
