first time ive been to this place and when i heard it on the news and on facebook that someone went to the street of the legend of richard burton, i decided to try it myself and loved going there. Its a small village place with 2 aqueducts with their big towering arches as you walk under them and over them, and pass the actors house where he once lived. I filmed a few things including the new pontywood sign up on the hill side which was cool. i only saw it while walking up a street and turned round and saw it in the hillside/mountain. Its not far to drive to port talbot and parked in the country park space and walked down which takes a minute or 2 but i walked over the bridge/aqueduct and spoke to a lovely woman who helped me out about where the best place to walk round and the cool painting of the actor on the side of the miners arms pub wall. a nice place to visit.
