#Lasercutter #Laser Enclosure #diyprojects Hey Everyone, I’m Carolyn from Tranquil Mentor and today we are going to be showing you our DIY Laser cutter Enclosure for the Atzer P20 Laser Cutter with Extension. We got our inspiration from Clack Shack, Vintauri and Valley Forged on YouTube. We’ll link their videos below. The enclosure is made with ¾ inch MDF from Home Depot and secured together with pocket holes and screws made with the Kreg Jig . The entire enclosure is 60 inches long, 32 inches deep and about 23 inches high. The doors are 27.5 inches each x 20.5 inches tall. Also, the bottom is ¾ inch MDF which we attached with corner brackets. Then we made a spoil board with the ¾ inch MDF as well. It’s heavy and that’s why we used the 2 x 4's and heavy-duty wheels for the cart. The orange safety acrylic is from Jtechphotonics.com and the acrylic is -OD3+ laser filtering from 250nm to 520nm and 1/8″ thick, the dimension are about inches x 12 inches. Of course don’t take our word for what is safe with a laser, always do your own research .. we did our research and decided to use this safety acrylic. This is not instead of safety glasses. Always practice safety and do not leave a laser project running without watching over it! It's always good practice to have a fire extinguisher close to you just in case of an emergency!
