Zach and Egg are best friends who are caught in a dangerous thunderstorm... While trying to find shelter, they stumble upon a monster in the woods! What is it? They find out it is a golem (Gigantus) who initially scares them away. After being scared by the monster, they wake up to see that he is unconscious. Although Egg thinks they should leave him alone, Zach goes up to it to make sure he is okay. This is the beginning of a wonderful friendship until... Marius the powerful sorcerer wakes up again! He plans on taking over the world with Golem at his side. Unfortunately, the Magic binds their lives together, meaning both must live or go away... After using a spell to control Golem, Marius sets his sights on wrecking Bedrock Springs. They won't stop until the world is theirs! Zach and Egg meet a Stikbot named Tim who gives them a way to save their friend. He also reveals that Stikbot Monsters were used this way in the past. Once they arrive at the town's fountain, they meet Marius and his monstrous creation.
