When I was younger, I thought that by 68 years old, I’d have this whole friendship thing figured out. But as I’ve aged, I’ve realized a lot of people haven’t. The friendship dance still feels a little like high school. And many of my peers simmer in resentment toward “the younger generation” for why things are going to hell in a handbasket.
