After yesterday’s sharp sell-off, Markets saw brisk action but couldn’t hold early gains. Nifty 50 closed 57 points higher at 25,482, while Sensex ended near 82,276. Nifty Bank slipped 3 points to 61,043. Buying in metal, auto, and pharma stocks provided limited support to the broader market. IT stocks rebounded following a strong Nasdaq rally and positive Anthropic commentary, with midcap IT stocks also gaining. Meanwhile, solar stocks were hit after the US imposed a steep 126% duty on Indian imports.
