Phantom of The Opera Cover I Thank you for watching Welcome to Comic Showcase. I'm going to show you my pulls for the week of February 25th. Let's get started. First up, I have Archie Comics: Archie and Friends Space Adventures No. 1. It looks like an EC comic, but it's actually Archie! Next, I have IDW Publishing, The Rocketeer: The Island No. 1. And this is a Dave Stevens variant. And I really can't say enough good things about this one. Um, so Dave Stevens created an outline of this story... or this line of stories and he didn't get to complete it before he died. And so the people who created it took his outline and then made it. It has everything you want. Not only the pinup style art of Dave Stevens, but it has Tintin, it has Amelia Earhart, it has Popeye, and it has Skull Island. And they're going to be having a visit from Kong, I believe. So, it's a really fun story and you should check it out. This next one is Boom Studios! Alice Forever After No.1. It's a second printing and it's the Enid Balam variant. It's just a really cool cover. This next one is Keen Spot Maid cafe No. 1. It's a really nice Mark Spears cover. And let me see if I can pull this out to show you. It also comes with a card. And this is the front of the card. And then the back says Made Cafe issue number one trading cards. This card is illustrated by Mark Spears. and it matches the cover. Image Comics Universal Monsters Phantom of the Opera number one cover a I love Phantom of the Opera. Image Comics Universal Monsters Phantom of the Opera number one cover B. It's a beautiful cover. Image Comics Universal Monsters Phantom of the Opera number one cover C 1 in 10. And it's a connecting variant. And I always like connecting variants, so had to get it! Image Comics Universal Monsters Phantom of the Opera number one cover eye. And this one is a mask uh wraparound die-cut variant. So, let's see if I can take it out without hurting it. Okay, so you have the Phantom of the Opera in a mask and it goes from the front to the back. And then if you open the front of the mask, you see the normal the side of his healthy face. And then if you flip it to the back and you take the mask off, you see the part of his face that's been damaged. So, it's kind of a very fun cover cuz he can wear the mask or not wear the mask.
