Living in Italy : Going to the Local Fish Market in Puglia | La Vita è Style

There are some things about living in Italy that really surprised me - hello culture shock! The experience of going to the market was one of them. I don't go frequently while in Milan, but when we are in Puglia we go every week because it's truly where you can find all the best and most fresh food! It's been 8 years now, and still I am taken back by the whole atmosphere at the Pugliese markets...! The people, the bartering for the best price and above all else the yelling to share the prices. That being said, I suggest going to the local market to anyone traveling in Italy because it's a unique experience and something so different than anything we experience in Canada.
