Ich hab geträumt - Wise Guys (a German ukulele cover) [VEDIF 18] Surprise! I speak German! Er, well, I studied it for seven years in school and it's not perfect but it's pretty good! Always trying to learn more! I'm currently teaching a German ukulele class at this school and since I'm learning all these fun German tunes, I thought I'd share one. Here's the gist of the text (for those of you who don't speak German): The guy is singing about how he wakes up and feels a bit off, his face looks weird 'cause he has a big grin on it. Then all of a sudden he remembers! He had a dream "she" kissed him, for no reason at all, and it was awesome! The only bummer is that he was asleep for it. Then he goes on it to say this is crazy! I can't fall in love with someone from just a dream. (Repeat chorus) Then in the bridge he's saying how maybe if he falls asleep, he'll get lucky and dream of her again. And he kind of wants to see if real life is like in the dream... Repeat chorus! It's a very cute song.
