Heavily influenced by the darker end of 80s electronic music, Deader's sound is a combination of danceable, sweaty club mania and hard Industrial rhythms, textures and vocals. Deader’s debut full length ‘The Deadening’ is a ferocious ten track soundscape of hard hitting Electro-Industrial, featuring pulsing, manically paced EBM/Industrial anthems like ‘The Deadening’ and ‘Everything Burns’ as well as cold, dark and dense Post Industrial pieces ‘The Weight’ and ’To Shed The Old Dead Skin’. ‘The Deadening’ sees Deader’s sound grow darker and more aggressive but also marks a striking shift in sound. With a stronger focus on structure and melody, incorporating catchier hooks and elements of Synthpop into the dirt and darkness, ‘The Deadening’ is haunting, infectious, dynamic and heavy!
