Start Your Day in Prayer: A Short Morning Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of a brand new day. As I rise, I acknowledge Your mercy, Your love, and Your presence in my life. Thank You for watching over me through the night and for the breath in my lungs this morning. Lord, I ask that You go before me today. Fill my heart with peace, my mind with clarity, and my spirit with strength. Guide my thoughts, words, and actions so that I reflect Your love in all that I do. Help me to be patient when things don’t go as planned, and to remain faithful when I feel unsure or afraid. Protect me and my loved ones as we go about our day. Keep us safe from harm and lead us away from anything that would draw us from You. Give us opportunities to grow, to serve, and to shine Your light in the lives of those around us. Thank You for Your grace that carries me, for the hope I have in Christ, and for the promise that You are always with me. I commit this day to You, Lord—may it be filled with purpose, peace, and the joy of knowing You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
