INGREDIENTS 220ml (1 cup) of lukewarm water 10g of fresh yeast 12g (1 tbsp) of sugar 400g (3 1/4 cups) of flour Oil for frying Sugar METHOD 1. In a bowl add the water, yeast, and sugar, and whisk. Add the flour and start mixing. When the dough starts to form knead it with your hands to obtain a smooth dough. Cover with cling film and let it rise for 2 hours, or until doubles in volume. 2. After time has elapsed roll out the dough to a rectangle shape and cut it into small rectangles. 3. Transfer them to the baking tray covered with parchment paper, cover them with a cloth, and let them rest for 20 minutes. 4. After 20 minutes transfer them to the pan with hot oil and fry until they are golden brown on both sides. 5.
