Christmas Staycation at Crowne Plaza Adelaide

We recently had the opportunity to spend a night at Adelaide's newest 5-star hotel Crowne Plaza Hotel. It's currently the tallest building in Adelaide as of time of writing (36 floors) and that equates to an awesome, unobstructed view of the Adelaide cityscape which is just a sight to behold. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had some hiccups but the staff were fantastic. To sum up our experience in one word: FUN. We'll definitely come back again to this very lively and family friendly hotel. :) Crowne Plaza Adelaide just opened last month (November) and as such offered a massive discount for everyone booking a room with them...so we took the chance and nab them while it's cheap! ;) It was a great way to celebrate the Christmas holidays too! It's a hard year to open a business related to hospitality and tourism but SA's (not just the government, but everyone in SA) management of the Covid pandemic has been fantastic and it reflects on the success of establishments like this. There was quite a number of people enjoying themselves: people having a swim, people leisurely eating, people enjoying each other's company while sipping wine and laughing, people just casually talking to each other...it's such an ironic scene in comparison to a good number of places in the world.
